Accessibility Statement
Last updated: August 3, 2026
Appliance Rescue Team is committed to making its website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We want every visitor to be able to find information and request service easily.
Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.
Measures we take
- Using clear, semantic HTML structure and descriptive headings.
- Providing text alternatives for meaningful images.
- Maintaining readable color contrast and resizable text.
- Supporting keyboard navigation, a visible focus outline, and a "skip to content" link. The mobile menu button can be opened and closed from the keyboard and closed with the Escape key.
- Reviewing new content and features for accessibility as the site grows.
Known limitations
Parts of the Site are supplied by third parties — the embedded Google map, and any review or Instagram content we display. We do not control how those components are built, so their accessibility may fall short of the standard we hold the rest of the Site to. If one of them is getting in your way, call us and we will give you the same information directly.
Ongoing effort
Accessibility is an ongoing process. We continue to test and improve the Site, and we welcome feedback that helps us do better.
